About Car Wash - Prince Road
Located at 1038 W Prince Rd, Tucson, AZ 85705, Car Wash - Prince Road operates as a car wash serving Tucson in Arizona. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
In Tucson, washes are busiest on sunny weekends and the first dry day after rain or a snowstorm, when lines back onto the street; weekday mornings are the quietest. Across Arizona, expect a basic exterior wash to cost about what a fast-food meal does, with wax, tire shine and undercarriage rinse sold as tiers above it. Self-service bays are the cheapest way to clean a truck bed, a muddy off-roader or a vehicle that will not fit a tunnel, and many run around the clock. Check the listing for the wash type, hours, free vacuums, unlimited plans and whether the site accepts cards or app payments, then call ahead in freezing weather, when tunnels close.
No hours are on file. If you plan a visit, phone first or check the Google Maps link on this page for the latest times. No phone number is listed for this business, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best route for directions and any contact details Google has on file.
Its Google rating stands at 3.4 out of 5 from 100 reviews, which is below average for the category; consider the recent reviews carefully before visiting.
Tucson is in Arizona, in the Southwest, where the desert climate brings very hot summers, mild sunny winters and the summer monsoon; outdoor businesses shift their hours toward early mornings and evenings in the hottest months. Traffic in Tucson peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I always was my vehicle myself, so I know its done the way I want it. I was in the Prince and Oracle area and found what I believe is one of the greatest self serve car washes in Tucson. At Prince Road Car Wash all the equipment has been replaced with new. When you go there you will get your dollars worth. Everything works. The place is clean and the young man that works there is very professional and polite. If you wash your vehicle yourself, you should do yourself a favor and stop at the Prince Road Car Wash.

Not sure why but but I used my debit card didn't even spend I spent $7 for what said 4 minutes which is pretty damn expensive honestly. And it charged my debit card $12 antique about 3 days for that additional $5 to get put back on my card which I thought was very odd why it charged my bank account $12 instead of 7.00 or keeping it at 7.00. Pretty damn shady.

Don't go here ever. I spend $12 and it's not enough to finish cleaning my car. 5 mins feels like 2 mins its so fast. And their vacuum is broken with no sign saying it's not working. It ate my $2. What a waste of time and money!

Stopped in today and everything went great. I used the far right bay and had no problems. The facility is a little dated. It does only take quarters. However I met Matt there who seemed like the owner. He said they're upgrading a lot of the equipment over the next couple of months. Will definitely use this facility again. Not sure what some of the pricing complaints are about. I got everything washed for 4 dollars. Maybe there's new ownership since previous poor reviews.
